To Lam attends training program for Vietnam's Central Committee

To Lam, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Republic, attended the opening of a training and knowledge update program for members of the 14th Party Central Committee in Hanoi. The program, organized by the Central Committee's Organization Commission and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, runs from August 17 to August 23 and includes 63 Central Committee members.

During his speech, To Lam emphasized the importance of converting Party orientations into concrete actions and coordinated results to drive national development. He noted that in a rapidly changing and unpredictable global environment, Vietnam must strengthen its autonomy, adaptability, and resilience. He outlined four strategic transformations: enhancing the leadership capacity of the Party and the political system; unified management of development space and resources; establishing a development model based on productivity, knowledge, technology, and people; and strengthening prevention and resilience capabilities.
