To Quoc Trong Tim national concert attracts millions in Ho Chi Minh City

The national political art program ‘To Quoc Trong Tim’ (Fatherland in the Heart) is returning to Ho Chi Minh City on August 23 at Van Phuc City. The event, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and Nhan Dan Newspaper, expects to host approximately 40,000 live spectators.

Demand for the event has been exceptionally high, with the registration system recording 5.7 million access requests. All online tickets were exhausted in less than two minutes after the registration portal opened. Despite the massive scale, all tickets are being distributed free of charge. Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, noted that ‘patriotism cannot be sold’ regarding the free admission policy.

The production features a 124-meter V-shaped stage and utilizes 1,500 tons of equipment. Organizers aim to develop the program into a national cultural and artistic intellectual property (IP) that promotes patriotic traditions through modern stage technology and performance arts.
