Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro to host Okinawa and Kyushu regional fairs

Tobu Department Store’s Ikebukuro flagship will hold two consecutive regional exhibitions. The "Okinawa Expo" runs from August 6‑11, 2026, featuring Okinawan cuisine, crafts and specialty drinks across more than 150 items, including traditional foods, local spirits and handcrafted goods. The event is staged on the store’s 8th‑floor venue in Toshima‑ku.

From July 29‑August 4, 2026, the "Kyushu Expo" will showcase products from seven Kyushu prefectures, with 77 participating vendors offering beef dishes, sweets, seafood and regional crafts. Highlights include brand‑beef bento boxes, local potatoes, and specialty desserts. Both fairs operate daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with eat‑in service ending 30 minutes before closing.
