TOFROM YAESU redevelopment to open near Tokyo Station in 2026

Tokyo Tatemono is set to open the first phase of its TOFROM YAESU redevelopment project on September 10, 2026. Located near the Yaesu Exit of Tokyo Station, the project represents a massive urban transformation that took approximately 25 years to complete due to the involvement of roughly 250 rights holders.

The development consists of the 250-meter-tall TOFROM YAESU Tower, featuring 51 stories above ground and four levels below, and the lower-rise TOFROM YAESU The Front. The tower will house offices, including the Tokyo Tatemono headquarters, a theater, conference facilities, medical facilities, and a bus terminal connection.

The commercial zone, TOFROM YAESU Shop & Restaurant, will open in its first phase in the tower's lower levels, featuring 55 establishments ranging from high-end dining to chain restaurants. A second phase in The Front building is scheduled to open sequentially from winter 2026, with a total of 68 planned tenants. The architectural design aims to preserve the character of the historic Yaesu district by incorporating elements that evoke traditional narrow alleys and street-facing storefronts.
