Togg partners with CATL for affordable T6 electric model

Togg is accelerating preparations for its upcoming affordable model, the T6. To reduce production costs and increase accessibility to electric vehicles, the company is collaborating with Chinese battery manufacturer CATL to utilize Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery technology.

As part of this partnership, CATL has begun establishing its operational structure in Bursa, Turkey, and has issued its first job advertisement for a finance manager position to work directly with Togg’s factory. The use of LFP technology is expected to provide cost advantages and a longer battery lifespan for the new model.
