Togg T6X development and T10X performance updates

Turkish electric vehicle manufacturer Togg is advancing plans for its upcoming affordable model, the T6X. To reduce production costs and improve accessibility, Togg is collaborating with Chinese battery manufacturer CATL to utilize Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) technology. As part of this partnership, CATL has begun establishing an operational structure in Bursa, Turkey.

Togg Chairman Fuat Tosyalı has provided updated timelines for the T6X, a compact B-SUV. The model is designed to be more accessible, with a target price point near 1.3 million TL. While Tosyalı noted that the final price will depend on economic conditions at the time of launch, the company plans to begin accepting orders for the T6X in June 2027, with the first vehicle deliveries expected to commence by the end of that same month. Togg has recently unveiled the first prototype of the T6X to expand its lineup following the T10X and T10F models.

Regarding manufacturing scale, Togg previously reported producing 25,000 vehicles the year before last and 40,000 last year. The company aims to increase its annual production capacity to 60,000 vehicles by 2026, with long-term targets exceeding 200,000 units.

Additionally, long-term testing of the existing T10X model after 150,000 kilometers has shown sustained performance. Reports indicate the battery remains healthy, maintaining a range of approximately 300 to 320 kilometers under highway conditions with air conditioning active, while electronic functionality and safety systems remain intact.
