Tokarnia Historic Vehicle Rally Attracts Hundreds of Classic Cars

On Sunday, 9 August, the 20th Świętokrzyski Zlot Motocykli i Pojazdów Zabytkowych took place at the Open‑Air Ethnographic Museum in Tokarnia, Poland. The motor‑picnic showcased several hundred historic vehicles, including pre‑World‑War II cars such as a 1927 Renault and a 1936 Opel, as well as vintage tractors, a Porsche from the 1950s, and motorcycles spanning the entire history of the machine.

Organised by the Kielce Voivodeship Office, the Museum of the Kielce Countryside, and the “Tylko Klasykiem” group, the event also featured a local product market with over 150 exhibitors, musical performances by the Świętokrzyska Band and youth brass orchestra, a shooting‑club display with first‑aid and hostage‑release drills, and a blood‑donation station. The rally ran from 12:00 to 17:00.

Michał Walczak of the “Tylko Klasykiem” group confirmed participation from both Polish and foreign owners, highlighting the breadth of the collection and the community’s enthusiasm for preserving automotive heritage.
