TOKİ announces real estate auctions in 51 provinces and housing project payment updates

The Housing Development Administration of Turkey (TOKİ) has announced the sale of 540 real estate properties, including 235 residences and 305 workplaces, across 51 provinces through an auction process. The estimated value of the auction is approximately 3 billion TL. The auctions are scheduled for August 19-20, 2026, with sessions held in Ankara and Istanbul, as well as through an online bidding system.

Payment terms for the auction include a 25% down payment and 120-month installments for residences. Workplaces offer various options, including 10% down payments with 96 or 120-month terms, or a 30% down payment with a 60-month term.

Regarding the 500,000 housing project, TOKİ has established the payment update schedule. The first installment increase for beneficiaries is set for January 2027. Subsequent updates to installments and debt balances will occur twice a year, in January and July. These increases will be based on civil servant salary increase rates, but are capped by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rates announced by TÜİK to ensure a ceiling on periodic increases.
