Tokyo 2026 Camping Car Show debuts new RV models from NutsRV and Nissan
The Tokyo Camping Car Show 2026 was held on July 11‑12 at Tokyo Big Sight, attracting 19,211 visitors and showcasing 238 motorhomes and trailers. Among the highlights was a collaboration between the long‑standing Japanese builder NutsRV and former EXILE singer‑songwriter Jun Shimizu, resulting in the "Jokare" camper built on a Fiat Ducato chassis. The vehicle features a spacious bike‑storage compartment, wheelchair‑friendly access, an electric lift‑height roof and a bedroom large enough for two adults to lie side‑by‑side.
Another prominent debut was Nissan’s new 7‑seat “Grand Puppy Atlas SG” unveiled by Camper Atsugi. Based on the Nissan Atlas (an Isuzu Elf Mio OEM), the compact 4.97 m long camper can seat seven people and sleep six, with a diesel turbo engine, 2WD/4WD options, FRP bodywork with Aeroflex insulation, a kitchen, dinette and loft‑style sleeping areas. Pricing starts at ¥12.9 million for the 2WD version.
