Tokyo business operator arrested for suspected prostitution ring

Four individuals, including adult entertainment business operator Ryota Kasahara (26), have been arrested on suspicion of providing a room in a Shinjuku, Tokyo apartment for prostitution.

Authorities allege that in July 2026, the suspects provided the premises despite knowing that female employees were engaging in sexual acts with clients. The business reportedly advertised services at rates such as ‘10,000 yen for 15 minutes’ and is estimated to have generated approximately 80 million yen in revenue.
