Tokyo hosts two major craft beer festivals in September 2026

The Oedo Beer Festival 2026 Autumn, organized by the Oedo Beer Festival Executive Committee, will be held at Shinagawa Intercity S&R Plaza in Tokyo from September 1‑5 and September 8‑12. The free‑entry event will feature craft breweries from across Japan and overseas, limited‑edition beers, and a variety of food stalls. The venue is a five‑minute walk from JR Shinagawa Station and includes indoor seating for rainy‑day visitors.

The Craft Beer Discovery 2026, co‑hosted by Beer Circus and Asahi Shimbun, will take place at Tokyo Big Sight’s West Hall from September 25‑27. Ten breweries—from Hokkaido to Kyushu—will present their original craft beers. Attendees can enjoy a stamp‑rally, jibei‑style meat pairings, and an up‑cycled snack called “BREW CHIPS” made from malt‑spent grain. The event is part of the GOOD LIFE Fair and offers a “Five‑Drink Stamp Book” for prizes.
