Tokyo to host several 2026 food festivals in Ikebukuro and Shinjuku

The Ikebukuro West Gourmet Park will return for its second edition on November 7‑8 2026 at the Global Ring in West‑side Ikebukuro. The free‑admission event will feature about 50 local restaurants, each offering a single signature dish, plus live music, art performances, children’s activities and a “zero‑waste” initiative.

From September 11 to December 25 2026, the Shinjuku Gourmet Park project will run at Ookubo Park in Shinjuku. Organized by Blue Mob, the series includes four themed festivals: the Tokyo Curry Expo, the “Rā 1” ramen competition, a Town‑Chinese and Gyoza Festival, and a Garlic‑themed Christmas event. All four events are free to enter, with food sold via ticketed stalls.
