Toledo and Madrid promote guided nature and heritage walking tours
The Diputación de Toledo has reactivated its 'Paseos Naturales' program, offering free guided walks through the province's most unique landscapes. The eighteenth edition features eight distinct routes, running from October 4, 2025, to May 16, 2026. These morning excursions, lasting approximately four hours, include expert environmental monitors and accident insurance, focusing on local flora, fauna, geology, and cultural heritage.
In Madrid, the Asociación de Guías Oficiales de Turismo is promoting specialized summer routes designed to mitigate high temperatures. These tours prioritize shaded, lush environments such as Campo del Moro, Casa de Campo, and Madrid Río to provide a cooler experience for visitors. These walks often include historical sites like the Ermita de San Antonio de la Florida and utilize headsets for guides to prevent noise pollution.
