Tolhuin hosts anniversary trail running race at Cerro Michi
As part of the 54th anniversary celebrations for Tolhuin, a new edition of the Trail Aniversario will take place this weekend. This year, the competition features a renovated route located at Cerro Michi.
The 14-kilometer circuit will begin at the base of Cerro Michi, specifically near the Park Ranger station of the Laguna Negra Provincial Reserve. Participants will navigate through mountain trails and forests of lenga and ñire trees. While the path does not feature abrupt climbs, the continuous and sustained ascent is expected to provide a significant physical challenge requiring endurance.
This new format aims to integrate a mountain experience into the city's sporting calendar and promote trail running within Tolhuin's natural landscapes. Registration is available through the official social media channels of the Municipality of Tolhuin.
