Sporting events in Tolhuin anniversary celebrations

The municipality of Tolhuin has organized several sporting events as part of its 54th anniversary celebrations.

In late September, the Municipal Polideportivo hosted a HYROX competition featuring functional training and endurance tests for both Pro and Amateur categories. In the Men’s Pro category, Martín Segovia took first place, while Micaela López won the Women’s Pro category. In the Men’s Amateur category, Juliano Moya secured first place, and Paola Bejarano won the Women’s Amateur category.

Following this, the second round of the enduro-cross competition was held at the ‘Los Picapiedras’ circuit as part of the 2026/2027 Fueguino Motorcycle Sports Championship. This event aimed to promote sports, recreation, and tourism. Winners included Dominique Ivandic Fique (ATV Mini 110), Milo Wolaniuk (Moto Junior), Leonardo Olivera (Moto Mini 65), Martín Ortega (Moto Experto), Pablo Onyszczuk (Moto Master), Mateo Del Giudice (Moto Open), Diego Jerez (Moto Pro Master), Fidel Lemo (Moto Promocional), and Facundo Tagle Catalán (ATV Elite).

In late October, the town held its 15th annual athletic competition, known as the Trail Aniversario. This year, the event moved from city streets to a renovated 14-kilometer circuit through the Cerro Michi area, starting near the Park Ranger station of the Laguna Negra Provincial Reserve. The route navigates through mountain trails and forests of lenga and ñire trees, providing a physical challenge through a continuous and sustained ascent.
