Entre Ríos officials promote tourism and sports in national parks
Governor Rogelio Frigerio and National Secretary of Tourism, Environment, and Sports Daniel Scioli met at El Palmar National Park to discuss integrating nature conservation with tourism and sports. The meeting included representatives from protected areas across Argentina to promote environmental education and outdoor activities.
Frigerio highlighted that approximately 1.5 million hectares, or 20 percent of Entre Ríos, are dedicated to conservation. He emphasized the potential of linking natural landscapes with historical sites, such as the Palacio San José, to boost regional tourism. Scioli noted the importance of using these natural settings for sporting events and family-oriented tourism.
