Tom Defoort and Anna Reiff win Ironman 70.3 Knokke-Heist

Tom Defoort and Anna Reiff emerged as winners of the Ironman 70.3 Knokke-Heist held on September 6. The event, which featured 2,700 participants, included a 1.9-kilometer swim, a 90-kilometer bike ride, and a 21.1-kilometer run. The race utilized a cross-border course starting in Sluis, Netherlands, and concluding in Knokke-Heist, Belgium.

In the men's category, Noury Vanmanshoven took second place, followed by Jelle De Wispelaere. In the women's category, Nouchka Willems finished second, with Katrien D’Haens taking third. The event served as a qualifying race for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship.

Looking ahead, the municipality of Knokke-Heist plans to transition the event format. Following the 2026 edition, the current 5150 and Ironman 70.3 distances will be replaced by a full-distance Ironman in 2027. This new format will consist of a 3.8-kilometer swim, a 180-kilometer cycle, and a 42.2-kilometer run.
