Tom Pidcock condemns police vehicle collision during Tre Valli Varesine

During the Tre Valli Varesine cycling race in Italy, two riders from the Pinarello-Q36.5 team, Marcel Camprubi and Thomas Gloag, were knocked off their bikes by a police motorcycle traveling the wrong way down the course.

Tom Pidcock, who finished second in the race, expressed intense frustration following the incident, stating he wanted to stop the race entirely. While Camprubi was able to continue, Gloag was forced to retire from the event and required stitches on his knee.

Camprubi shared his distress on social media, noting the danger of racing only one month after a separate tragic accident involving cyclist Finlay Tarling.
