Tonies and Pokémon launch exclusive audio content and hardware

Tonies and The Pokémon Company International have announced a collaboration to bring Pokémon content to the Toniebox audio platform. The partnership includes the release of four exclusive Pokémon-themed Tonies featuring Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.

To introduce younger fans to the franchise, the audio content includes a narrator acting as a professor who explains Pokémon types, abilities, and the use of Poké Balls. The experience also features a ‘Trainer Academy’ designed to teach children how to categorize Pokémon and understand the differences between various elemental types.

In conjunction with the launch, a special yellow edition of the Toniebox 2, inspired by Pikachu, is being released. A starter set containing the yellow Toniebox 2 and a Pikachu figure is available for pre-order at 134.99 Euro. Individual Pokémon figures are priced at 16.99 Euro each.
