Tonner Drones to acquire Azur Drones in strategic expansion

Tonner Drones has signed a binding agreement to acquire Azur Drones from Drone Volt in a cash-funded transaction. The acquisition includes all assets, technology, and key personnel of the French autonomous surveillance company. The deal is structured through a liquidation proceeding, ensuring the restructured entity remains debt-free.

As part of the agreement, the companies have established a strategic partnership to exploit Azur Drones’ “Drone in a box” technology, previously marketed under the Skeyetech brand. This autonomous system is designed for perimeter surveillance and situational awareness at military and sensitive infrastructure sites. It has completed over 62,000 autonomous flights and is currently operational in 11 countries.

The commercial rights for the technology will be divided geographically: Drone Volt holds exclusive worldwide commercial rights to market the systems to the civilian sector outside of Europe, while Azur Drones will continue to serve the European market and lead defense-sector activities independently.
