Tony Boy arrested in Milan for drugs and illegal weapons
Italian rapper Tony Boy, born Antonio Hueber, has been arrested in Milan following a police search of his rented villa in the Città Studi district. Authorities reported finding cocaine, hashish, marijuana, and a precision scale. Additionally, police seized a Beretta .35 caliber handgun with a filed-off serial number and approximately fifty rounds of ammunition.
The Milan Prosecutor’s Office has requested pretrial detention, describing the 26-year-old artist as having a “very high level of dangerousness.” During the search, investigators also found several canisters of helium, which are reportedly used by some youths for hallucinogenic effects.
The arrest has sparked political debate in Palermo, where the rapper was scheduled to perform at the Velodromo on August 27. Palermo Mayor Roberto Lagalla stated that the city takes a stand against behaviors incompatible with civil coexistence and is evaluating the situation, noting that the administration will wait for judicial developments before making final decisions regarding the concert.
