Toprak Razgatlioglu faces challenges in MotoGP transition

Three-time WorldSBK champion Toprak Razgatlioglu is facing significant challenges during his transition to MotoGP. The Turkish rider has expressed frustration with the technical density of the championship, noting that the volume of information required during technical meetings and the complexity of managing different track conditions can be overwhelming.

Razgatlioglu has specifically highlighted difficulties adapting to Michelin tires, noting a lack of grip that affects braking and tire management. He has indicated that he is looking forward to the switch to Pirelli products next year to help improve his performance.

Currently ranked 21st in the championship with 18 points after 15 Grand Prix weekends, Razgatlioglu compared his current struggle to his difficult 2018 debut season in WorldSBK. He noted that while he faced similar doubts about his potential during that period, his current status as a former champion makes the struggle to achieve top-ten finishes even harder to accept.
