Italy hosts major endurance sports events including Tor des Glaciers

Various endurance sports events are taking place across Italy. In the Tor des Glaciers (TOR450), Franco Collé has taken a solo lead in the 450 km race, maintaining a significant advantage over competitors like François Devaux.

The Tor des Géants (TOR330) has also commenced in Courmayeur. Early leaders include Jiaju Zhao in the men's category and Katharina Hartmuth in the women's category. The race is noted for its extreme difficulty, covering 330 km with 24,000 meters of elevation gain.

Other notable events include the Three Lakes Trail, where Diego Zanardo and Rebeka Petrovcic won the 53.9 km long-distance race. In Primiero, the MTB Marathon Master saw Sasha Starker claim victory in the men's category. Additionally, the TUTTO BENE Hillclimb featured 85 high-performance vehicles, including a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR, climbing the Mottarone.

Looking ahead, the “Corsa Sentiero del Sole” is scheduled to return to Valle Aurina on October 10, featuring a 22 km course with 1,000 meters of elevation.
