Torino: Man dies by suicide after attacking partner

In the Barriera di Milano district of Torino, a 37-year-old man died by suicide after attempting to attack his 31-year-old partner. According to reports, the man allegedly attempted to throw the woman from a tenth-floor balcony and subsequently tried to strangle her, causing her to lose consciousness.

The woman managed to break free and fled to neighbors' apartments with her one-year-old daughter. Both mother and child were reported to be in good condition, though the mother was taken to a hospital in shock. Carabinieri from the Torino Oltre Dora company are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
