Torino police seize 241kg of drugs and firearms
Police in Torino have arrested a 26-year-old man following a major anti-drug operation. Authorities seized approximately 241 kilograms of various narcotics, including hashish, ketamine, cocaine, and marijuana.
The seizure is notable for the volume of ketamine recovered, which officials stated is the second-largest ketamine seizure ever recorded in Italy. In addition to the drugs, investigators recovered 85,000 euros in cash, five firearms, ammunition, and drug packaging materials.
The investigation focused on a basement located in a residential building on Corso Ottone Rosai, which was suspected to be a storage site for large quantities of drugs and weapons. The operation was carried out by the Anti-Drug Section of the Mobile Squad.
