Torre del Greco and Stalettì accelerate beach renovation projects

In Torre del Greco, municipal authorities led by Mayor Luigi Mennella have fast‑tracked the clean‑up and safety works on the San Giuseppe alle Paludi beach. Excavators and specialized equipment are removing accumulated debris and stabilising the shoreline, with the goal of reopening the free‑access beach before the peak summer season.

In the Calabrian town of Stalettì, the local administration completed a new access ramp and a floating chair system on the Caminia shoreline. The upgrades, including three buoyant seats, are intended to help people with disabilities reach the water safely, promoting inclusive tourism along the coast.
