Toscanini Academy's IN Orchestra program begins in Parma

The Fondazione Arturo Toscanini, together with the Conservatorio “Arrigo Boito” of Parma and IFOA, launched the IN Orchestra training pathway on 22 July. The 60‑hour course runs from 22 to 29 July for thirty instrumentalists residing in Emilia‑Romagna, offering intensive orchestral practice, specialist workshops and professional‑orientation sessions. Funded through the regional Operation Rif. PA 2025‑25411/RER/2 and co‑financed by the European Social Fund Plus, the programme aims to bridge academic study and the professional orchestral market, providing participants with practical skills, mentorship from the Filarmonica Toscanini faculty and exposure to the realities of a music career.

Ruben Jais, superintendent and artistic director of the foundation, emphasized that the initiative seeks to give young talent “the tools, experiences and competencies” needed for a successful transition into professional orchestras.
