TotalEnergies completes €86.4 million share buyback

TotalEnergies SE announced that, following shareholder approval on 29 May 2026, it repurchased its own shares between 29 June and 3 July 2026 for a total amount of €86.4 million. The buy‑back was executed on several European trading venues, including XPAR, CEUX and TQEX, with daily volumes ranging from 10,000 to 210,000 shares and weighted‑average purchase prices around €66‑69 per share. The programme covered 1,285,106 shares in total, representing a modest portion of the company's outstanding stock.

The repurchase aligns with TotalEnergies' broader financial strategy and its commitment to return value to shareholders while maintaining a strong balance sheet. The company, a global integrated energy firm with over 100,000 employees, highlighted its focus on sustainable growth across oil, gas, biofuels, hydrogen, renewables and electricity.
