Tottenham and Bayern in transfer price talks over Palhinha and Tel

Tottenham Hotspur, who borrowed Bayern Munich midfielder João Palhinha for the 2025/26 season, hold an option to buy him for a fixed €25 million plus up to €5 million in bonuses – a total of around €30 million. According to reports, the London club is now seeking to renegotiate the price, aiming to lower the fee before committing to a permanent transfer.

Former Bayern talent Mathys Tel moved to Tottenham permanently for €35 million after an earlier loan. After a season with limited playing time, the 21‑year‑old is being linked with a loan to FC Porto that could include a purchase option of roughly €30 million, which would allow Tottenham to recover much of the original outlay to Bayern.
