Tottis Bingo fined for profit‑margin breach and counterfeit goods
The Independent Market and Consumer Protection Authority imposed administrative fines totaling €389,339 on the food company Tottis Bingo AEBE. A fine of €309,339 was levied for exceeding the permitted gross‑margin on 33 product codes between 13 March and 3 April 2026. In a separate inspection at a warehouse in the municipality of Dafni, authorities seized and destroyed 6,341 counterfeit accessories and accessories, resulting in an additional €80,000 penalty.
The authority said the actions are part of its ongoing effort to protect consumers, curb unfair commercial practices, and ensure market legality by targeting excessive pricing and the trade of imitation products.
