touchpoint. systems reports revenue losses from fragmented marketing stacks

Brisbane-based marketing systems company touchpoint. systems has reported that fragmented marketing technology (MarTech) stacks are causing Australian businesses to lose between 20 and 30 percent of their annual revenue. These losses often go undetected because the disconnected systems responsible for generating the loss are also those used to measure performance.

Industry data shows a massive expansion in the MarTech sector, with the number of distinct global solutions growing from approximately 150 in 2011 to 15,384 in 2025. Despite this growth, marketing teams report using only 49 percent of their stack’s capabilities on average. Furthermore, only 23 percent of B2B marketers have fully integrated data flows that function without manual intervention. Research indicates that 65.7 percent of marketers view data integration as the main obstacle to extracting value from their technology.
