France reports multiple violent incidents in Toulouse, Villeurbanne, and Angoulême

France has experienced a series of violent incidents across several cities. In Toulouse, a 30-year-old Italian national was arrested after attacking three municipal police officers with knives. While initial reports suggested a possible terrorist motive, investigators noted the suspect suffers from significant psychiatric issues and claimed to be following voices in his head. In the same city, a man in his thirties was stabbed twice during a robbery at Place André-Abbal, and two individuals on an electric scooter were observed traveling at high speeds on a highway bypass.

In Villeurbanne, near Lyon, a 16-year-old boy is in critical condition following a shooting in the Grandclément neighborhood. Authorities are investigating the incident as an attempted murder involving an organized gang, noting that the area has seen a rise in drug-related violence.

Additionally, in Angoulême, a 40-year-old man was taken into custody following a violent stabbing in the Ma Campagne district. The victim, a 36-year-old man, survived serious abdominal injuries. The suspect, who is also a Tunisian national, has denied the allegations.
