Tour of Denmark 2026 unveils new route without time trials

The 2026 edition of the Tour of Denmark introduces a completely new route layout, removing both individual and team time‑trial stages. The five‑day race will consist of short, intense stages designed to finish in fast sprints, with PostNord as the title sponsor.

Stage details: Day 1 – 197.2 km around Aalborg, featuring a repeated 700‑metre climb on Mølleparken. Day 2 – 182.9 km from Glyngøre to Skive, including a 400‑metre ascent at Krabbesholm Skov. Day 3 – the queen stage, 202.9 km from Fredericia to Vejle, with several steep climbs such as Ibækvej and Tingkærvej. Day 4 – 172.6 km from Rudkøbing to Faaborg, a comparatively easier profile. All stages end on fast circuits that are expected to decide the race in the final metres.
