Overview

In early July 2026 the organizers announced a historic first‑time stage on Langeland (Stage 4 on 1 August) and a Skive‑based Stage 2 on 30 July, outlining a five‑day route across Denmark. The provisional start list, released in late July, confirms a deep field of 21 teams, including seven WorldTour squads such as Team Visma Lease‑a‑Bike, Lidl‑Trek, Uno‑X, Alpecin Premier Tech, Unibet, Alpecin‑Deceuninck and Polti VistiMalta. Danish riders highlighted are Christopher Juul Jensen, former national champion Søren Kragh Andersen, time‑trial champion Kristian Egholm, Alexander Kamp and Anders Foldager. International contenders include returning winner Christophe Laporte, Fabio Jakobsen, Toon Aerts and Tom Crabbe, promising a competitive battle for the overall podium.
