Tourism Authority of Thailand launches new marketing campaigns in Spain and ASEAN
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is launching multiple strategic campaigns to boost visitor spending and target high-value markets. In Spain, TAT has partnered with travel operator Viajes El Corte Inglés for the ‘Grandes Viajes 2027: Descubre Tailandia’ campaign. This initiative offers discounts of up to 400 euros on package tours and aims to sell approximately 3,000 packages through a network of over 400 sales points across Spain, focusing on culinary, cultural, and water tourism.
Simultaneously, TAT has announced the third edition of the ‘ASEAN India+ Shoppers in Thailand 2026’ program. Running from September to November, the campaign expands its reach across ASEAN and South Asia. Under the ‘Value over Volume’ strategy, the program collaborates with over 50 partners—including King Power International, Central Group, and The Mall Group—to provide shopping, dining, and lifestyle privileges. The goal is to stimulate nationwide spending and distribute tourism income more broadly among local businesses and SMEs.
