Toyota Argentina releases 2025-2026 Sustainability Report
Toyota Argentina has released its 22nd Sustainability Report for the 2025-2026 period, detailing environmental, industrial, and social progress. The report highlights that the company led production, exports, and domestic sales in Argentina for the fifth consecutive year in 2025.
The Zárate manufacturing plant reached a record production of over 180,000 units during 2025. Additionally, the Hilux model marked 20 years as the best-selling pickup truck in the country. As the company approaches the 30th anniversary of its Zárate plant in March 2027, it continues to focus on its goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
Key environmental achievements include a 9% reduction in energy intensity and a 15% reduction in water consumption per vehicle compared to the previous year. Through a partnership with YPF Luz, all vehicles manufactured in Zárate have been produced using renewable electricity since 2018. These industrial improvements resulted in a reduction of 1,384 tons of CO2 emissions.
