Toyota Corolla Cross 2027 facelift launched in Argentina

Toyota Argentina unveiled the 2027 update of the Corolla Cross SUV, adding design, equipment and connectivity upgrades. The most visible changes appear on the GR‑Sport trim, which receives a new honey‑comb front grille integrated with LED headlights, black‑bright trim, exclusive GR badges, redesigned rear bumper and diffuser, and 18‑inch alloy wheels. Inside, a revamped central console now houses an electronic parking‑brake‑with‑hold function, wireless charger and additional connectivity ports, while the GR‑Sport interior is fitted with sport‑styled seats, a GR‑logo steering wheel and aluminium pedals.

All models gain Toyota Connected Services via the Toyota app and the Toyota Play 2.0 multimedia system with a 10.1‑inch display. The safety suite Toyota Safety Sense, including autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane‑keeping assist and automatic high‑beam, is standard, and a tire‑pressure‑monitoring system is now offered across the range. The XEI version adds two connected‑service packages – “Always Connected” (free) and “Security Connected” (free for the first 12 months) – providing remote diagnostics, accident alerts and vehicle‑theft tracking.

Powertrains remain unchanged: hybrid models combine a 1.8‑litre gasoline engine with electric motors for a combined 122 hp, while conventional versions use a 2.0‑litre Dynamic Force engine delivering 170 hp through a CVT. Prices start at AR$51.918 million for the base XLI and go up to AR$64.083 million for the GR‑Sport, with a 10‑year or 200,000‑km warranty.
