Toyota model updates and performance releases mid-2026

Overview

Throughout mid-2026, Toyota continued a global wave of model refreshes and performance-oriented releases. This model is expected to reach global markets, including Brazil and Paraguay, in the coming months. Other updates included the 2027 Corolla Cross price increases in Brazil, the launch of the gasoline/hybrid Highlander in Japan, and a redesigned Crown Crossover prototype. A July survey in Japan identified the Yaris Cross as the top-voted SUV for buyers with a ¥2 million budget.
