Toyota Land Cruiser 300 HEV launches in Vietnam at 4.71 billion VND

Toyota Vietnam has officially introduced the Land Cruiser 300 HEV, the first hybrid version of the Land Cruiser 300 series available in the country. Imported from Japan, the vehicle is priced starting from 4.71 billion VND.

The Land Cruiser 300 HEV utilizes a parallel hybrid system that combines a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine with an electric motor and a 10-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain produces a total output of 457 horsepower and 790 Nm of torque. Toyota reports that the hybrid system improves fuel efficiency, with a combined consumption of 10 liters per 100 km, representing a 22.7% reduction compared to the gasoline-only version.

Key features of the hybrid model include electric power steering, wireless charging, and an automatic high beam (AHB) system. The vehicle maintains the traditional body-on-frame construction and four-wheel drive capabilities. This launch is part of Toyota's broader strategy to expand its electrified SUV lineup in Vietnam, where the company currently holds a 66% market share in the hybrid segment.
