Toyota Land Cruiser series faces high demand and supply shortages

Toyota's Land Cruiser series is experiencing significant supply constraints and high demand across several models. In Japan, the newly released Land Cruiser FJ has seen such rapid interest that many dealerships have suspended new orders, with some exhausting their initial production quotas shortly after its May launch.

Other models in the lineup face similar challenges. The Land Cruiser 70 has suspended production, making new orders extremely difficult, while the Land Cruiser 300 is currently facing a backlog of existing contracts that limits new sales. The Land Cruiser 250 remains available for gasoline models with estimated delivery times of three to five months.

Despite the difficulty in purchasing new vehicles, the series maintains exceptionally high resale value, with all four major models (FJ, 70, 300, and 250) receiving top-tier resale predictions. In Taiwan, interest in the Land Cruiser FJ is noted, though local introduction would likely depend on the availability of hybrid powertrains.
