Toyota launches Land Cruiser FJ SUV manufactured in Thailand

Toyota has launched the Land Cruiser FJ, a new off-road SUV manufactured in Thailand. The vehicle is built on the IMV0 body-on-frame chassis, similar to the Hilux Champ, but features a shorter wheelbase designed for improved urban maneuverability and off-road capability.

In Thailand, the Land Cruiser FJ 2.7 4WD is priced at 1,289,000 Baht. The Thai production facility serves as a primary hub, utilizing 84% local parts, with plans to export over 40,000 units annually to approximately 60 countries, including Japan. The model features a 2.7-liter gasoline engine producing 166 horsepower and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

In Vietnam, Toyota Motor Vietnam has introduced the model with a starting price of approximately 1.198 billion VND. The vehicle is characterized by its rugged design, including a 245 mm ground clearance, removable bumpers for easier repairs, and a rear-mounted spare tire. Interior features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen and leather upholstery.
