Toyota launches limited‑edition GR Yaris and upgraded GR86 sports cars

Toyota Netherlands opened orders for a limited‑edition GR Yaris Sébastien Ogier 9× World Champion Edition. Developed with nine‑time rally champion Sébastien Ogier, the model features a unique four‑wheel‑drive setup, exclusive matte black paint, blue brake calipers and French‑tricolour accents. Production is very limited and pricing starts at €116,595.

In Japan, Toyota’s Gazoo Racing division unveiled an upgraded GR 86. The update brings back the Solid Gray exterior colour, a refined RZ‑trim interior, fine‑tuned throttle control, electric power steering and smoother shift operation. A key safety addition is the EyeSight driver‑assist system with a triple‑camera setup. The GR 86 Cup Car now offers an automatic transmission option. Customer orders begin on 28 August, with shipments slated for December 2026, and the model will be displayed at events in Nagoya and Fuji Speedway.
