Toyota launches new Land Cruiser FJ in the Philippines

Toyota Motor Philippines has begun retail sales of the all‑new Land Cruiser FJ, a compact SUV version of the iconic Land Cruiser line. The model is offered in two trims, TX and VX, both powered by a 2.7‑liter 2TR‑FE naturally aspirated gasoline engine producing 166 hp and 245 Nm of torque, paired with a six‑speed automatic transmission and a part‑time four‑wheel‑drive system.

Measuring 4,610 mm long and 1,855 mm wide with a 2,580 mm wheelbase and 245 mm ground clearance, the FJ combines a ladder‑frame chassis, double‑wishbone front suspension and four‑link rear suspension to retain off‑road capability while being maneuverable for city driving. Standard features include a rear‑mounted spare tire, side‑hinged cargo door, and Active Traction Control (A‑TRC). Inside, the cabin adopts a functional, driver‑focused layout with durable materials and modern infotainment.
