Toyota launches updated Corolla Cross models, debuting Z Adventure in Japan

Toyota introduced a new Corolla Cross variant called the Z Adventure, available only in Japan. The model features a black‑grill front inspired by the Land Cruiser, optional Z Adventure package, 17‑inch alloy wheels, and a 1.8‑litre hybrid power‑train delivering 140 hp. It is offered with front‑wheel drive and an optional all‑wheel‑drive version, priced at about $22,400 for the base model and $24,300 for the four‑wheel‑drive version.

In Europe, the latest Corolla Cross model year received a visual refresh with a new front grille, slimmer headlights and increased cargo capacity of 473 L. It continues to be sold only as a hybrid, with 1.8‑litre engines rated at 140 hp or 180 hp. A GR Sport trim adds sportier styling, a lowered suspension, and Alcantara‑trimmed seats. Prices start at roughly €43,490 for the standard hybrid and €45,690 for the GR Sport version.
