Toyota RAV4 models feature hybrid and plug-in hybrid options

Toyota continues to offer various iterations of the RAV4, including the 2024 Hybrid SE AWD and the upcoming 2026 RAV4 GR Sport.

The 2024 RAV4 Hybrid SE AWD features a 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid powertrain producing 219 combined horsepower, paired with an eCVT automatic transmission and electronic on-demand all-wheel drive. This trim includes sport-tuned suspension and various safety and comfort features such as Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+.

The 2026 RAV4 GR Sport focuses on the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain, which delivers 324 horsepower. While the powertrain remains consistent with other PHEV trims, the GR Sport includes chassis enhancements to improve handling. The model has demonstrated a real-world highway fuel economy of 42 mpg.
