Toyota rolls out new RAV4 in South Africa and hosts youth motor show in Nigeria

Toyota introduced the sixth‑generation RAV4 in South Africa, offering variants priced between R770,500 and R1,043,900. The model features a refreshed design on an updated TNGA platform, a 12.3‑inch digital instrument cluster, advanced safety systems and extended warranties for hybrid versions.

In Nigeria, Toyota Nigeria Limited staged the 2026 Toyota Motor Show in Lagos, dedicating a day to youth innovation. The program included technical workshops, automotive quizzes and engineering competitions, awarding cash prizes to winning student teams and individuals. Attendees test‑drove flagship models such as the Camry, RAV4, Land Cruiser, Corolla and Hilux, while the event featured entertainment segments and a DJ contest.
