Toyota South Africa launches hybrid Land Cruiser 300 models

Toyota South Africa Motors has unveiled new hybrid versions of the Land Cruiser 300. These models feature a 3.5-litre twin-turbo petrol hybrid powertrain that produces a total output of 341kW and 790Nm.

The ZX specification is currently available, while the GR-S version is scheduled for a 2026 launch. The hybrid system is designed to maintain off-road capabilities while improving fuel efficiency, achieving a consumption rate of 10l/100 km. Additionally, the Land Cruiser 300 HEV includes a waterproof AC inverter capable of supplying up to 1,500W of external power.
