Toyota unveils design preview of updated Crown Crossover for September 2026 launch

Toyota has released teaser images of an updated Crown Crossover, scheduled for a mid‑September 2026 market debut. The preview shows modest exterior revisions, including a reworked lower front‑bumper area and a cleaner rear design where the deep tail‑lamp cut‑outs and previous reflector shapes have been removed. The company said the changes aim to “realise a stable wide stance.”

The redesign also adopts a more conventional two‑tone colour scheme, with the A‑pillar and rear panels now in black, moving away from the earlier exotic two‑tone styling that has been unpopular in Japan. No mechanical or power‑train modifications have been disclosed, and the model continues to build on the platform introduced in 2022, which has seen special editions for its 70th anniversary.
