Toyota unveils redesigned Crown Crossover ahead of 2026 launch

Toyota Motor Corporation revealed the exterior design of an updated Crown Crossover on 15 July. The prototype shown features a cleaner rear end, a wider stance and a revised front, maintaining the model’s blend of sedan elegance and SUV proportions introduced in 2022 as the first of the 16th‑generation Crown line.

The company said the redesign aims to improve visual balance and stability, while details on powertrain, equipment and pricing remain undisclosed. Production‑ready vehicles are slated for launch in mid‑September 2026. Social‑media users on X (formerly Twitter) commented positively, noting the rear’s simplicity and the overall sleek look.

The preview images are prototypes and may change before mass production, but the announcement signals Toyota’s continued refresh of its flagship Crown family as it moves toward the next model year.
