Toyota updates Brazil Corolla Cross pricing, launches Yaris Cross XR taxi model

Toyota announced changes to the 2027 Corolla Cross line in Brazil, raising prices by R$1,100 across all trims and eliminating the entry‑level XR version. The revised lineup now comprises four models – XRE, XRX, GR‑Sport and XRX Hybrid – with prices ranging from R$194,790 to R$223,790. The GR‑Sport receives a new front grille, redesigned alloy wheels, sport‑styled pedals and updated interior trim, while all versions gain a centrally‑designed console, tire‑pressure‑monitoring system, connected‑car services and a fixed‑price maintenance plan under a 10‑year warranty.

In parallel, Toyota introduced a new Yaris Cross XR variant aimed at ride‑hailing drivers, taxi operators and customers with mobility needs. Priced at R$149,990, the XR meets the Move Brasil program requirements and strips back equipment to a basic level, keeping core safety features such as six airbags and ABS while omitting higher‑end comforts and advanced driver‑assist functions.
